"CHRISTMAS ON CAMPUS" TO TAKE PLACE REGARDLESS OF WEATHER

christmas 50A little rain will not dampen the scheduled festivities at Limestone College this weekend as the school hosts its 29th annual “Christmas On Campus” event on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Limestone officials said on Thursday that if the forecasted rain does arrive, Santa’s sleigh will easily make it through the showers so that he can make his scheduled appearance on campus. While rain might prevent the thousands of customary luminaries to be lit, all other activities will still be held.

RESIDENCE HALL INSPECTED AS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE

New Residence HallAfter three students reported unusual medical symptoms early Thursday morning, as a precautionary measure, Limestone College officials evacuated one of its residence halls and had the Gaffney Fire Department inspect the building for any traces of elevated carbon monoxide.

That inspection by the Fire Department found no unusual levels of carbon monoxide. Natural gas company officials were then called to the scene and also found no elevated levels of carbon monoxide.
