RESIDENCE HALL INSPECTED AS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE

New Residence HallAfter three students reported unusual medical symptoms early Thursday morning, as a precautionary measure, Limestone College officials evacuated one of its residence halls and had the Gaffney Fire Department inspect the building for any traces of elevated carbon monoxide.

That inspection by the Fire Department found no unusual levels of carbon monoxide. Natural gas company officials were then called to the scene and also found no elevated levels of carbon monoxide.

"CHRISTMAS ON CAMPUS" SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, DEC. 7

Christmas on Campus ImageLimestone College will help welcome in the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 7, when it hosts the 29th annual “Christmas On Campus” event.

Activities begin with the lighting of the luminaries at 5 p.m., along with a holiday reception at the Bailey Museum & Gallery inside Winnie Davis Hall of History. From 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., the Limestone music department will perform a “Sounds of the Season” concert inside Fullerton Auditorium.
