KYLES SELECTED BY MILWAUKEE BREWERS IN MLB DRAFT

Marques Kyles '10

Limestone College pitcher Marques Kyles '10 was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 48th round of Major League Baseball Draft.

A 6'-9" 225lb lefthander, Kyles appeared in 12 games as a senior for the Saints in 2010 splitting two decisions.

Kyles is the third Limestone baseball player under head coach Chico Lombardo taken the Major League Draft. Pitcher Kevin Pucetas '06 was selected in the 17th round of the 2006 draft by San Francisco. Brad Correll '02, an infielder, was chosen in the 29th round of the 2002 draft by Cincinnati.

Limestone Graduation in Pictures; 64-year-old Caps Inspirational Quest for Degree

Limestone College conferred nearly 400 degrees during commencement exercises May 6-8 in the College's Fullerton Auditorium. Graduates represented the traditional Day Student program, the Extended Campus and Internet offerings.

Additionally, an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts will be presented to Nancy Caldwell Carlisle, a member of Limestone's Class of 1952.

Larry Brewer, 64, capped a long and inspirational journey to complete his degree.

LIMESTONE STUDENTS DONATE OVER $1400 TO MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION

The Limestone College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Student Alumni Leadership Council combined their efforts to donate $1469.71 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Saints' donation was in coordination with the NCAA Division II's national fundraising campaign.

Limestone's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee raised $918.71 through a year-long change drive and shirt sales. SALC donated $551 to the cause.
