REDESIGNED LIMESTONE LICENSE PLATES NOW AVAILABLE FROM SCDMV

Limestone License PlateLimestone College alumni, supporters, and fans can show their school spirit while supporting much-needed scholarships and funding student enrichment programs at the same time by purchasing the Saints’ newly redesigned license plate.

Officials at Limestone recently worked with the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles to redesign the College’s license plate to prominently feature the “Fast Fleur” logo that has become synonymous with the Saints’ athletic teams. For over two decades, Limestone’s charitable license plate featured the outline of Winnie Davis Hall of History.

WILLIAM BROWN NAMED 2013 PHILANTHROPIST OF THE YEAR

Limestone College named William W. Brown as its 2013 Philanthropist of the Year at a luncheon held at the Piedmont Club in Spartanburg on June 25.

“William has been a long-time friend and supporter of the College, and for that, all of us who work there are deeply grateful for what he has done and will continue to do," Dr. Bill Baker, Special Assistant to the President for Public Affairs, said in front of a capacity crowd at the event. “Not only does Limestone applaud William’s leadership, but so do the Peace Center, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, and the Greenville Tech Foundation where William’s influence and support are prevalent.”
