Limestone Exhibits Mixed-Media Paintings by 2005 Graduate

Limestone College is hosting a 13-piece solo exhibition of works by alumna Susan Dunn. Although untitled, the exhibit features a collection of abstract paintings of landscapes and cityscapes using mixed-media including oil, acrylic and NuPastels.

The exhibit, which will run through October 22nd, is housed in the A.J. Eastwood Library Gallery. Gallery hours are 8:30 a.m.-10 p.m. and admission is free and open to the public.

Zimbabwe Natives Ready to Make Their Mark in Limestone Field Hockey

Tanya Jansen and Bernice Jere were playing in a national hockey festival in southern California last year when their college destiny took a major turn.

The Zimbabwe national team members met their new field hockey coach during a social event at the "Festival of Tours," the world's largest amateur hockey event. The California sporting event featured 225 teams from 24 states, the District of Columbia, Canada and Zimbabwe.
Presidential Convocation
Limestone College's Presidential Convocation is scheduled for Thursday, September 2nd, at 9:45am, in Fullerton Auditorium for all day students. The Convocation is the official opening of the new academic year.  President Dr. Walt Griffin speaks to students about what's expected in 2010-2011 at Limestone.  In addition, new faculty are introduced and members of various honor societies are recognized. All day students are expected to attend.
