March 15 Conference for High School Juniors & Seniors interested in teaching career

TC_hor_logoLimestone College will host the Upstate Teacher Cadet Conference at its Gaffney campus on Thursday, March 15 from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

The conference is open to all high school juniors and seniors interested in a career in education. While there is no charge to attend the conference or for the provided lunch, registration is required and can be completed online .

The Saints celebrate their first ever Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship following a 74-61 win over Barton in the title game. Limestone earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament with the victory.
The Limestone College (25-6, 16-2) women's basketball team secured the program's first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament after defeating Barton College (21-8, 14-3) 74-61 in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship Game on Saturday, March 3 in front of a rocking crowd of 1,059 at the Timken Center.

The Saints put five players in double digits and had to fend off a late charge by the Bulldogs to secure the team's first tournament title.
Wrestling Team Honored Accomplished Seniors, the Most Since Its Inception in 2004
Limestone Wrestling team showing off their hardware after a successful run at the NCAA Super Region II tournament this past weekend. Senior Dan Scanlan, and Juniors Mike Magaha, Jeremy Bommarito and Kenneth Kampnich each earned right to compete at the upcoming National Tournament.
During the February 10th final home match of the season the Limestone College wrestling team won a close contest against UNC Pembroke (21-19). But it was bitter-sweet for eight seniors who participated in the last home match of their college career. The team has experienced huge growth over the years; and this year the program will graduate the most seniors since its inception in 2004.
