High School Students Get Head Start on College Degree with Limestone's Dual Enrollment Program

For the past 12 years, Limestone College has provided seniors at Blacksburg and Gaffney High Schools with the opportunity to sample life as a college student and get a head start on their college credits, all while remaining a full-time high school student.

The WHNS-TV (Fox 21) morning news team was in Gaffney Friday morning (July 13) to kick of the 2012 Peach Festival. Joining in the fun and appearing on the live television broadcast were Brandon Gibson, Director of Limestone's new MBA degree program, and the College's cheerleaders.

Limestone President Dr. Walt Griffin accepts Charter Business's "Business of the Quarter Award" from Ken Pelanda, Business Acct. Executive for Charter Business.

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has named Limestone College Charter Business's "Business of the Quarter." Ken Pelanda, Business Account Executive for Charter Business, presented the award to Limestone President Dr. Walt Griffin on Monday, July 2nd.
