Limestone Students Fly Kites for Constitution Day |
On Friday, September 17th, Limestone College students celebrated Constitution Day by constructing and flying original kites on the front campus to illustrate the historical document. The event was organized by Dr. David Woods, Professor of Criminal Justice at Limestone and Chair of the College's Social and Behavioral Sciences Department.

Scholars, Dollars & Chocolates a Sweet Deal for Dessert Fans and College Students Alike |

If you crave chocolate sensations and are inspired by making a meaningful impact on the lives of others, you can literally have your cake and eat it too while dancing the night away during Limestone College's Scholars, Dollars & Chocolates Scholarship Banquet scheduled for September 30 at 7 p.m. in the Broad River Electric Cooperative auditorium (811 Hamrick Street, Gaffney).
Now in its fourth year, Scholars, Dollars & Chocolates can make college education dreams a reality for Cherokee County students.
"Every penny raised through the banquet supports the Cherokee County Scholarship Program," said Tisha Thompson, Director of Development at Limestone."Through the program, we are able to award each Cherokee County day student attending Limestone $1,500 annual scholarships based solely upon their county residency.

Limestone Exhibits Mixed-Media Paintings by 2005 Graduate |

Limestone College is hosting a 13-piece solo exhibition of works by alumna Susan Dunn. Although untitled, the exhibit features a collection of abstract paintings of landscapes and cityscapes using mixed-media including oil, acrylic and NuPastels.
The exhibit, which will run through October 22nd, is housed in the A.J. Eastwood Library Gallery. Gallery hours are 8:30 a.m.-10 p.m. and admission is free and open to the public.
