"HOW I BECAME A PIRATE" COMING TO FULLERTON AUDITORIUM

pirate2A once-in-a-lifetime experience for the family of a children’s book author will play itself out in front of live audiences at LimestoneCollege later this month.

Limestone College Theatre and the Gaffney Little Theatre will join forces on Friday, Sept. 20, and Saturday, Sept. 21, to present three stage productions of “How I Became A Pirate,” which is based upon the book by the same name written by Greenville resident Melinda Long.

And when that book comes to life at Fullerton Auditorium on the Limestone campus, Long will have the opportunity to watch as her son, Bryan, a senior at Limestone, takes on one of the major roles as Captain Braid Beard.

LIMESTONE NAMED AMONG REGION'S BEST

A small, private liberal arts institution based in Gaffney, SC, Limestone College is listed as the 56th best regional college in the South, according to the report.

The Limestone College Theatre was well represented recently when nominations were announced for the Metrolina Theatre Association Awards in the College & University division.

In fact, the Limestone College Theatre had at least one nomination in each of the major categories.
