The two Limestone College students will soon have their work featured during the “Form And Function” Senior Art Exhibit scheduled for Nov. 7-Dec. 14 at Granberry Hall Gallery on campus.

REMINDER: "REASONS TO BE PRETTY" IS THURSDAY-SATURDAY!

Reasons 2Limestone College Theatre will present "Reasons To Be Pretty" Oct. 17-19 at 7:30 each evening.

Limestone Theatre is located at 130 Leadmine Street in Gaffney.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 65-over, $6 for students with an ID, and $6 for children 12-under.

Limestone students, faculty, and staff admitted free.

 
LIMESTONE COLLEGE SENDING VOLUNTEERS TO "UPSTATE STAND DOWN" TO ASSIST VETERANS

Upstate Stand Down2The video images were simply too hard for Limestone College junior Mary Carnicle to ignore.

The sight of military veterans sleeping under bridges and holding cardboard signs asking for help broke her heart. And motivated her to take action.

Carnicle, a 30-year-old Social Work major from Rutherford County, NC, who now lives in Spartanburg, SC, and a large contingent from Limestone will spend this Thursday, Oct. 17, volunteering at “Upstate Stand Down,” an event scheduled to assist homeless veterans. Restoration Church Expo Center in Spartanburg will host the Upstate Stand Down from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
