"BLUE RIBBON FUN DAY" SET FOR MAIN CAMPUS ON APRIL 5th AT 11 AM

Child Abuse LogoThe Limestone College Student Social Work Organization hopes to bring awareness to the plight of child abuse with a “Blue Ribbon Fun Day” on Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The event on Limestone’s front campus is being held in cooperation with CAPE (Child Abuse Prevention Effort) of Cherokee County. Activities will include comments from guest speaker Stephanie Freeman, a balloon launch, a silent auction, games and prizes, face painting, inflatables, and more. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Guardian Ad Litem and the Foster Parent Association. While they last, free hotdogs will be available at the event.

"NUNSENSE" TO BE PRESENTED BY LIMESTONE COLLEGE THEATRE

Limestone College Theatre NUNSENSE JPEG - FBwill present the musical comedy “Nunsense” during an upcoming six-day run over two weekends in April.

“Nunsense” will open on Thursday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m., and will continue the next two evenings at the same time. The musical will continue on April 10-12 at 7:30 each night.

Limestone College Theatre is located at 130 Leadmine Street in Gaffney. Advance tickets are available at www.showtix4u.com. Tickets are $8 for students with proper identification, for senior citizens 65 and over, and for children 12-under. Adult tickets are $10. Limestone students, faculty and staff are admitted free. Tickets will be available at the door each day at 6:30 p.m.
