Financial AidThe Extended Campus Program students should apply for any state or federal financial aid for which they believe they are eligible. Please contact the Financial Aid Office (1-800-795-7151) for the necessary forms and deadlines or for further information. Veterans BenefitsStudents eligible for veterans benefits should contact the Extended Campus Office (1-800-795-7151 press 7) to complete any needed forms and to alert the staff to certify your enrollment with the Veterans Administration. Some of our locations have not been approved for VA benefits. Contact us to learn which locations are not approved. Course Load PolicyAn Extended Campus student is not allowed to exceed 27 credit hours within any semester. Schedule ChangesLimestone College makes every effort to provide class schedules that meet the needs of our students. Because of enrollment requirements and/or availability of faculty, however, Limestone College reserves the right to cancel classes. Students will be notified of any changes whenever possible and as soon as possible. Attendance PolicyStudents are expected to attend all classes. Classes meet for 12 class sessions. Students may enter class only before the third class session. Students who attend the third or later class session and withdraw must pay for the class and will receive a grade of Withdraw Passing (WP) or Withdraw Failing (WF) depending on the grade at the time of withdrawal. A "WF" counts the same as an "F" in calculation of your GPA. When a student's absences exceed 20% of the total number of scheduled class periods in a semester, the student will not receive credit for the course and will receive a grade of "WF". Academic PolicyThe Limestone College Catalog provides information and regulations about curriculum, degree requirements, finances, schedules, attendance, course load, and related matters. Regarding such matters, the Catalog is considered to be a contract between the College and the student. The College reserves the right to change any statement or regulation in the Catalog at any time. It is the responsibility of the student to keep apprised of such statements and regulations and of any changes. Information on any changes will be available in the office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs. If you do not have a current Limestone College Academic Catalong, please contact your Area Coordinator, site representative, or the Extended Campus Office. |
