Program Overview
Most of our students talk about the small classes because they are able to receive the one-on-one attention they deserve. The average evening class size is about 15 students. The small classes offer more opportunities for class participation and individual attention.

The Extended Campus Classroom program divides the calendar year into 11 sessions, each lasting four weeks. One three-credit-hour course is studied intensively and completed in four weeks. This allows the student to complete a degree in the usual time, four years for a bachelor's degree and two years for an associate's degree. Students may complete their degrees sooner, depending on transfer credit.

Also, classes do not have to be taken each month during an 11 month period; a break can be taken at the end of any month, depending on a student's schedule. An entire semester does not have to be missed just because one course is missed. Classes are usually held each week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings for 12 sessions. At some sites, courses are offered on Wednesday and Friday evenings for 10 class sessions.

Classes are offered at South Carolina sites in Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Gaffney, Greer, Kingstree, Lowcountry (Yemassee), and Aiken/ North Augusta.
