The Limestone College Department of Music will host the Stephen Anderson Trio for both a demonstration and a concert on Tuesday, February 21.

The demonstration will take place at 2 p.m. in the Carroll Recital Hall, while the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Fullerton Auditorium. The public is invited to both events, which are free of charge.

Limestone College’s Department of Art is planning a tour of Spain in 2018 and is looking for students who might be interested in making the trip.

Professors Carolyn Ford and Emily Tuttle are organizing the 13-day excursion that will include stops in Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Costa del Sol, Seville, Toledo, Madrid, and Lisbon. The trip will also offer a Spanish cooking lesson for those who are interested.

Brittany Durrah, a junior from Duncan, SC, was crowned Miss Limestone College 2017 at a pageant on Saturday, February 18.

Durrah, who graduated from Byrnes High School, is a member of the Limestone cheerleading squad. Performing a lyrical dance routine, she also won the award for Overall Talent.

She will now advance to the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Pageant that will be held at Township Auditorium in Columbia June 20-24.

Ten contestants competed for the title of Miss Limestone College during the pageant held at Fullerton Auditorium.

Ten contestants will vie for the title of “Miss Limestone College” during a pageant on Saturday, February 18, at Fullerton Auditorium.

The event, sponsored by the Limestone Activity Board, will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Adult tickets are $7 each at the door, while children 12-under will be admitted for $5 each (cash only). Limestone College students, faculty, and staff will be admitted for free.

Limestone College was recently designated as having the most affordable regionally accredited online program in South Carolina, and is ranked as one of the most affordable in the nation, according to a nationally-recognized website.

Earlier this month, the website released its 2017 list of the 50 most affordable online programs in the United States, and Limestone ranked No.13 overall. No other schools from South Carolina made the ranking.
