Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is committed to supporting the goals of Limestone College, keeping alumni connected to each other and the College, and preparing our future leaders to succeed in today's global and competitive economy.

The Board of Directors comprises 17 Limestone College alumni who are dedicated to the College and the mission of the Alumni Association.  The Board's qualifications include:

  • Strong leadership qualities, with demonstrated support for Limestone College, including:
    • Ambassador for student recruitment;
    • Ambassador for the College; and,
    • Understanding the relationship between the Alumni and Development offices, and Development's goals and campaigns.
  • Ability and willingness to commit to a two year term, to be involved and participate in:
    • One on-campus meeting per year in the fall;
    • One on-campus meeting per year in the spring;
    • Serve on a Board committee and participate in regular committee meetings; and,
    • Volunteer for assignments as they come up in their area of expertise.
  • Add to the diversity of the current Board in the following areas:  college degree, professional experience, race, gender, and geographic location.
  • In accepting the appointment, an individual agrees to fulfill the following requirements and responsibilities:
    • Attend and participate in all scheduled Board meetings;
    • Serve actively on Alumni Board and Alumni Association committees;
    • Foster a spirit of loyalty and fraternity among graduates, former students, and friends of Limestone College;
    • Make a financial commitment to support program areas of interest; and,
    • Interact with the Alumni Office to represent the interests of all alumni of Limestone College.
