Limestone College participates in all state or federal financial aid programs. We offer our students Pell, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Federal Work Study, all federal loan programs, i.e., Perkins, Stafford, Subsidized and Un-subsidized, and Parent Loans.
Over 75% of Extended Campus students receive some type of financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, and/or loans.
Financial Aid/Scholarship Application Procedures
- Apply for Admission to Limestone College: The earlier the better, so that our admission and financial aid counselors will know that you are serious about college and so you can be kept informed about procedures and early deadlines which apply to special Limestone College scholarships. Priority is given to those who apply for financial aid prior to April 15.
- Apply for Financial Aid: You need to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
 . Our school code is 003436. This form covers federal, state, and institutional financial aid. Make sure that it is accurate and complete, and that the information is based on your most recent IRS 1040 Form information. File your Federal income tax form as soon as possible.
- Verify Your Student Aid Report: Within 3-5 weeks after you file the FAFSA, you will be sent your Student Aid Report (SAR) – the Financial Aid Office receives your Institutional Student Information Report (ISIR). Read the messages printed on the SAR and follow instructions about any corrections so that we can finalize and mail your Limestone College Financial Aid Award Notification letter. If you are making corrections, mail your SAR to the Financial Aid Office in Gaffney.
- Award Notification Letter: Follow directions on the Award Notification letter you receive from the Financial Aid Office to apply for Stafford Loans. If you wish to decline any financial aid, email the Financial Aid Office at
