Tutors as a Faculty ResourceAcademic Success Center tutors are students helping other students become active, life-long learners. As well as individual tutoring, the tutors also lead study groups, do presentations, and share with the faculty their insights on individual students' learning needs. They can provide feedback to the faculty on assignments, curriculum, and tests. A tutor may spend as many as 30 hours of direct contact with an individual student per semester. This puts the tutors in a unique position to offer information to faculty. Professors are encouraged to use the tutors as a valuable resource. LocationThe Academic Success Center is located in the Dixie Lodge on the second floor, in Room 103, across from the post office.
