Ribbon Cutting Held For Renovated Charleston Classroom Site

Limestone College held a ribbon cutting as part of its grand reopening celebration for its Charleston site on Thursday, March 23.

The celebration showcased improvements to Limestone’s existing site located inside the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce building on Leeds Avenue in Charleston. The renovations, however, did not disrupt the site’s services to Limestone’s students in that area.

Limestone staff members who participated in the ribbon cutting included President Dr. Walt Griffin, Executive Vice President Dr. Karen Gainey, Director of Evening Program Donna Hudson, Charleston Senior Student Services Coordinator Rochelle Maple, Charleston Student Services Coordinator Vanessa Speights, and Lowcountry Region Corporate Marketing Coordinator Jenn Muckelvaney.

Guests had an opportunity to meet Dr. Griffin and other members of the College’s administrative and support staff. As they viewed the facility’s recent renovations, visitors enjoyed refreshments, received gift bags, spoke to advisors and professors, learned about degree programs offered, and enrolled for upcoming classes.

Limestone College’s Evening Program has been a part of the Charleston community since 1976.
