Nine contestants will vie for the title of “Miss Limestone College” during a pageant on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Fullerton Auditorium.

The event, sponsored by the Limestone Activity Board, will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Advance tickets are $5 each through the Limestone Student Services office and $7 at the door (cash only).

Singing Valentines February 12, 2016

Instead of the standard candy and flowers to capture hearts for Valentine’s Day, Limestone College hopes local residents will select a more “vocal” approach.

For the second straight year, the Limestone College Chorus is prepared to surprise that special someone with an out of the ordinary gift later this month, a Singing Valentine.

The Chorus members will deliver Singing Valentines throughout the Cherokee County area on Friday, Feb. 12, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Ford

Limestone College Professor Carolyn Ford, Chair of the Art Department, is currently featured in a solo art exhibit entitled “Circular” at North Greenville University.

The exhibit, which features both functional thrown works as well as low relief tiles, will be on display through Feb. 29. An Artist Talk featuring demonstrations will be held on Feb. 9 at 8 a.m. in the NGU ceramics lab.

Williams

The latest list of the “50 Most Influential Band Directors” is out, and Limestone College’s Assistant Director of Bands Ryan Williams made the cut.
