Library

Limestone College's A.J. Eastwood Library will host "Know Your Library Day" on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The event will take place on the front campus near the historic fountain. There will be drawings, giveaways, games, and more! Music will be provided by the Limestone Marching Saints. Giveaways will continue inside the library after 1 p.m. Stop by for flashdrives, notepads, pens, water bottels, and tote bags!

Stop Hunger Now

Nineteen Limestone College sports teams and Cherokee County eighth graders helped package 100,000 meals destined for Third World countries.

An assembly line process was used Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 22-23, to combine rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a packet with 23 essential vitamins into small meal packages. The meals will be shipped worldwide by Stop Hunger Now relief organization to food assistance programs in developing countries such as Venezuela, Syria, Belize and Colombia.

Limestone College’s Fall Presidential Convocation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 10:15 a.m., in Fullerton Auditorium.

The Convocation is designed especially for new students, both freshmen and transfers, but other students who would like to attend are welcome.

Classes will not meet at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. in order for faculty members to attend Convocation.

The entire College community is invited to a cookout on the front campus following the Presidential Convocation. The cookout start time is approximately 11:30 a.m.
